HBHS Student Spotlight: We would like to say congratulations to the following students for being on this year's Homecoming Court.

Each week, the HBHS Football team selects a "Teacher of the Week." This week, Sarah Hernandez was selected by the players. Below are a few comments from our players... "She works hard and cares about her students" "She always is engaged with the students and ensures our success" "She is always wanting her students to attach the day and get better. She always tries to make sure her kids feel comfortable and safe. She is always pushing kids to do their best work everyday and have fun." Thank you for all you do Mrs. Hernandez!

If you still need an application you may pick one up in the counseling center, but please return it by Thursday of this week. Night school begins next week. This weekend, the HBHS Debate team competed in Dallas. They began the season in outstanding fashion. Parents and Seniors- We will be hosting our first College evening event for all seniors and senior parents. Anyone is welcome. It will be this Thursday, September 9th from 6-7 p.m. in the Seminar Room at Har-Ber High School. The event's speakers will be answering all GENERAL admission and financial aid type questions. John Brown University will be the presenters. They will have a short slide show presentation about the admission and financial aid processes at ANY COLLEGE. This is not John Brown specific, but if you are interested in attending JBU, it would be an excellent idea for you to attend!
