Our goal is to sell at least 20 ducks for the Springdale Public Schools Education Foundation's 6th Annual Duck Race! You can help us by purchasing a duck for $10 each for the race. Everyone who purchases a duck can earmark their duck for a specific classroom or school! If that duck wins the race, that classroom/school will win a $1000 grant! The Springdale Chamber of Commerce featured the 57th annual Teacher Appreciation Event on Aug. 9 at Har-Ber High School. The event included a vendor fair and some $135,000 in prize giveaways. #SpringdaleFamily

Monitor Elementary School will be offering kindergarten jumpstart for our incoming kindergarteners from July 31st thru August 4th. If you have an incoming kindergartener, please let us know if your child will be attending using the link or QR code below! Also, please help us spread the word if you know of any students who will be five years old on or before August 1st who live in our attendance area. Monitor Elementary is looking for instructional assistants for our classrooms that serve our wonderful special education students as well as a PE instructional assistant. Both timesheet and contracted positions are available. Qualified applicants should have sixty hours of college credit or a passing score on the Arkansas Parpro assessment, or a willingness to take and pass the Arkansas Parapro assessment.
