Bus 208 (Randall Wobbe Apartments) will not be running on Tuesday, October 5th. Please make arrangements for students to be dropped off in the car rider line before 7:45am and picked up at 3:00pm. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Due to a shortage of bus drivers, bus 208 (Randall Wobbe Apartments} will not be running today. Please make arrangements to drop your child off in the car rider line by 7:45am and pick up your child at 3pm in the car rider line at the back of the school. We apologize for the inconvenience.
🍴We now have one choice for lunch each day. Below are the breakfast and lunch menus for the school year along with a meal calendar to know the week number. 🍴
We desperately need your help! Even though all students are being allowed to eat for free again this year, we still need families to complete the free and reduced meal form.
Here’s why: Our district must have at least 70% of our students qualify for free and reduced meals by October 1, 2021, or we will lose up to $8 million dollars in funding next year. This $8 million dollars are the funds used to provide nurses, social workers, and school resource officers for each school.
Right now, we are only at 66%. Will you please help us by completing the application today?

🍴August Breakfast & Lunch Menus🍴
Monday is the first day of school, and we can’t wait to see our mallards! Below is a map that shows where our car rider line is and where buses drop off.
Kindergarten parents are welcome to park in the front parking lot and walk their child to enter at the end of the yellow hallway on the first day of school. Parents will not be permitted to enter the building but will be greeted by teachers at the door.
Students may enter the building starting at 7:30am and school starts at 7:45am. Dismissal begins at 3:00pm. Face coverings are required, so please send your child with a mask. See you on Monday, mallards! 🦆
We will be collecting a school supply fee from all students this year. Students will also need a backpack and face coverings. Students can pay their supply fee with cash or check when school begins, or you can pay online using the link below. Be sure to include your child’s name and grade in the text box at checkout so we can let your child’s teacher know they have paid their supply fee. ✏️

We can’t wait to see our mallards tomorrow for open house! Students will find out who their teacher is at this time. Our open house will be a primarily outdoor event, with one family visiting their child’s classroom at a time. To allow for social distancing, please limit guests to the student and parents. Masks are required for students inside the building. Kindergarten, 2nd, and 4th grade students are invited to come between 1pm and 2pm or 5pm and 6pm for this drop in event. 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade students are invited to come between 2pm and 3pm or 6pm and 7pm.
In addition to our open house event, we will also have our mobile food pantry available while supplies last.
We can’t wait to see you, mallards! 🍎
The first day of school is Monday, August 16th! Here is Springdale School District’s academic calendar for the 2021-2022 school year. We’re looking forward to a great school year! 🍎
Help us welcome Emily Brumley to the Monitor family! We are so excited she is joining our team and know she will be a great addition to fourth grade! 🍎
Hi Mallard family! My name is Emily Brumley, and I recently moved back to Arkansas from Texas. This will be my second year teaching 4th grade, and I’m so excited I get to spend it at Monitor. I’m looking forward to growing closer to my Monitor family who has already made me feel so welcome. I cannot wait to meet my 4th graders and their families and begin a fantastic year!
Help us welcome Tina Stephens to the Monitor family! Tina will serve as a special education instructional assistant, and we know she will make a great addition to our team! 🍎
I recently moved back to Springdale after living here in 2019. I have been an Instructional Assistant for 23 years, mainly in special education as my passion is in helping those with disabilities. I am also a school bus driver. I have two sons and one grandson. I enjoy spending time with family, friends, going to church, reading, traveling, hiking, and rescuing animals. I am very excited to start this new school year as a special education IA at Monitor Elementary!
