Local Scholarships will Open February 1, 2023

Local Scholarships

There are three types of Local Scholarships:

1) The "One App Scholarships" all use the same application

2) The "Separate App Scholarships" each have their own application

3) The Springdale Education Foundation Scholarships located on the SEF Scholarships page (click here)

Local "One App Scholarships"

Deadline: 4:00 PM, April 1, 2024

To apply:

  1. Click the name of each scholarship to review guidelines and criteria.

  2. If you meet the criteria - Download the One Application HERE.

  3. Fill out the One Application completely.

  4. Then save it as a PDF.

    • (Chromebook users: to save completed application, click print, and change settings to "save as PDF".)

  5. Submit each Scholarship with required documents HERE

    • The documents you will need are:

      • Completed Application

      • Transcript

        • request by email at shscounseling@sdale.org

      • Test Scores

        • Print ACT scores from www.act.org

        • Request Accuplacer Scores from Couns. Sec. at heather.mulford@sdale.org

      • Personal Cover letter (sample/tips)

      • Essays, Letters of Recommendation, etc.

  6. Deadline: 4:00 PM, April 1, 2024.

Local "Separate App Scholarships"

Deadlines: Vary

To Apply:

  1. Click on the name of each scholarship to review guidelines, and criteria.

  2. If you meet the criteria then fill out the application completely.

  3. Applications can be found by clicking on the scholarship name.

  4. Each scholarship will have it's own application.

  5. Attach additional requirements as indicated by each scholarship. (i.e., resume, essay, letter of rec, etc.)

    • Transcript

      • request by email at shscounseling@sdale.org

    • Test Scores

      • Print ACT scores from www.act.org

      • Request Accuplacer Scores by email at shscounseling@sdale.org

    • Personal Cover letter (sample/tips)

  6. Include a personal cover letter with each application. (1-2 paragraphs introducing yourself, goals, highlights of few of your experiences or skills, etc.) COVER LETTER SAMPLE
