Haz La U -
At Colgate, we believe that a higher education is a path to a brighter future and are dedicated to Hispanic students like you. That’s why, in partnership with the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, we have created “Haz La U” (Make the U), a college grant program for Hispanic high school seniors.
Have you focused on academic excellence, dedicated service to your community, and demonstrated leadership? Your effort could be rewarded by winning one of 31 educational grants* with a total support of $100,000. Deadline: November 13, 2022
HSF Scholar Program - $500 - $5,000
Scholars are selected based on merit. Award amounts range from $500 - $5,000, based on relative need.
Must be of Hispanic heritage
U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident, or DACA
Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for high school students; minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for college and graduate students
Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university, or graduate school, in the US, for the 2023-2024 academic year
Submit the FAFSA or state-based financial aid forms (if applicable)

McDonald's HACER Scholarship -
The McDonald's HACER National Scholarship Program will offer scholarships to up to 30 outstanding Hispanic students from all over the country. Funds are aimed to help recipients finance their college tuition, and there are three tiers. Tier 1 recipients will be awarded up to $100,000. Tier 2 recipients will receive $20,000 or $10,000 and Tier 3 recipients will receive $5,000. Recipients are selected based on their academic achievement, community involvement, personal statement and financial need. To date, more than $5 million in McDonald’s HACER National Scholarships have been awarded to Hispanic students across the country.
NWA NAACP Scholarship - $1,000 - Deadline: April 1, 2023

NACME is responsible for over $5 million in scholarships awarded annually to underrepresented minority (URM) students. Beyond corporate supported scholarships, NACME administers scholarships on behalf of foundations, government agencies, family endowments, and willed gifts.

Our mission at My Undocumented Life is to provide up-to-date information and resources to undocumented students, their families, and allies (including educators, counselors, and administrators). We post scholarship opportunities that are open to undocumented students, strategies for navigating the educational system while undocumented, information on how to apply for DACA, key upcoming immigration-related events, news on immigration policies, and much more. Most importantly, we want to provide a sense of community to our diverse group of readers..
We believe nothing should stand in your way of a college education—not the cost, your immigrant status, or the lack of financial aid. Our scholarships can help you pay for your college education. You do not need DACA or TPS to apply! You can apply if you came to this country before November 1, 2016.

Ernest Whitelaw-Don Kinney Scholarship - Awarded by the American Indian Center of Arkansas - $500, Deadline: March 31, 2023
WebstaurantStore Diversity Scholarship - $5,000 This scholarship is open to students who are members of the following minority ethnic groups - American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino or Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander. Eligibility is dependent on current or future enrollment in a Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management program (including Culinary Schools). This includes high school seniors, GED students, and non-traditional learning students who plan to enroll in similar programs at the start of the next year. To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must also have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher or 2 years of work experience in the restaurant or hospitality industries. Deadline: June 15, 2023
